Dear Pastor Armstrong,

We, at Interfaith Caregivers Trenton, are saddened by the news of Loretta Garvin’s passing.  We wish to extend to the Shiloh Baptist church family our condolences on the loss of a dear friend in Christ.

Loretta leaves behind a legacy of quiet service.  She not only served her church family well, but also, her caring heart extended outward to her elderly neighbors in her apartment building.  She volunteered unselfishly, giving over 300 hours of visiting, making meals, and chores.  She did so, joyfully, spreading love and kindness, while making it appear as natural as breathing.

As a volunteer care giver since 2000, Loretta served faithfully for ten years in this ministry to homebound seniors and people with disabilities.  We are most grateful for the privilege of working with her over the years.

May God bless you and all at Shiloh Baptist Church as you continue this legacy of caring so beautifully lived by our dear sister in Christ, Loretta Garvin.

Sincerely,

Mary Ann Isaac
